Description

Located in the residential district Kaart. In a quiet street with many trees, close to the city centre. By bike you can be at all the shops in 10 minutes, the bus is at walking distance, Kattekensberg play forest is nearby.

Architect Pierre J. Tack commissioned the current owners to design this 1976 villa. The house is remarkably bright: the glass front door is part of a large window section and inside, tall windows provide plenty of sunlight.

The large entrance hall - with built-in cupboards and guest toilet - gives access to the living room on the right. This is no less than 70m2 and consists of a TV corner, desk and cosy, deeper sitting area with wood-burning stove.

The kitchen is still original, with oven, ceramic hob and dishwasher. The dining room opens onto the beautifully landscaped, mature garden with spacious terrace. The covered part of the terrace is deliberately separate from the house, so it does not block the sun from shining inside. The garden has an idyllic pond where birds come to wash themselves throughout the year. A beautiful sight!

Entering the entrance hall on the left, a long corridor leads to the 2 indoor garages, storage room, back door, kitchen and stairs to the upper floor. At the end of the corridor is another cosy bedroom on parquet with views of the garden. En suite bathroom with bath and shower.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms - all with views of the garden - and a bathroom. Attached is another spacious attic space with lots of potential. The night hall has convenient built-in cupboards. A large window here provides additional light.

owner speaks out

At the time, it took us a long time to find the ideal building plot on which to build our dream villa. The quiet surroundings and large garden were always huge assets for our family. Plenty of space to play and garden, and then there is the beautiful pond that the birds love... . Inside, our children used to have their territory on the upper floor, while we slept downstairs. We always found that a plus. We leave this place behind now, with many fond memories to cherish.
